Johanna Turns 11

Johanna applied for and was selected to be on the Student Leadership Team (SLT) at Bryant.   The team created a video to welcome students back to Bryant at the beginning of the school year, she worked with friends to host a  ring toss game at Bryant Open house to raise money, and the team will be working on a service project this year.  Here she is with the team presenting at the all school assembly. 

Speaking of activities, Johanna has SO MANY!  If allowed, she would sign up for nearly any activity offered.  We had said she could only be in one activity at a time, but Tony has a soft spot for sports and Michelle has a soft spot for the arts which resulted in way more than one and some tough choices when schedule conflicts occurred.  Hopefully we all learned our lesson for next year.

The list of activities Johanna wouldn't want to do is much shorter - examples are Volleyball and Girl Scouts.  Johanna also loves arts and crafts - never having enough art supplies.  She reads each night before bed, currently working through the list of Iowa Children's Choice Award books so she can participate in the Battle of the Books.

Johanna loves Grandma Millie's tort cake so she requested and got it for her birthday.
