Chicago trip

I was able to spend a couple of days in Chicago with the kids while Drew was recovering. Here is what I learned:  Ben loves money, Alicia really likes to play memory and is quite good, little brothers pick on big sisters ALOT, Tony can handle Johanna just fine on his own, and it was great being there but even better coming home.

Bad habits

Daycare said she has perfect form in her thumb sucking but I have no idea where she gets that big lip :-)

Bad day

This is Johanna's "not having a good day" face.  We got a call from daycare because she had a fever and wasn't feeling herself. At the doctor's office the fever was its highest at 102.3. She had a lot of new experiences including a blood draw (both arms), a urine sample, and a chest X-ray -- all of which looked like torture tactics as she screamed loudly. She ended up passing most tests with not much more than an ear infection.  We are all glad to have this doctor visit over.   And her new official weight is 12 lb 7 oz, what a big girl we have!

Bath time

In the spirit of not providing TMI, I won't go into the details of what led to Johanna's bath :-). Little Miss Johanna discovered her tongue this weekend and has been enjoying showing it off, which has led to a lot more chatter and drool.
