Johanna dressed up as Winifred Sanderson from Hocus Pocus; Walter dressed as a leopard. It was a cold day for trick or treating, however, the kids were energized by the opportunity to get more candy. We bundled up (even mom wore two pairs of pants) and stayed out the entire time. Johanna's friend Naya also dressed as a Sanderson sister; she and her mom joined us and we stayed on the back streets instead of tackling Grandview. The kids used pillow cases as trick-or-treat bags and once, as Walter threw it over his shoulder, the weight nearly knocked him over.
Johanna got to experience spray hair color.
Walter loves the opportunity to be an animal and continues to use his costume.
