It looks like guster likes the new floor

Getting more mobile but still not crawling. We saw her move from her belly, to knees, to sitting for the first time. Then she did it about 8 times in a row. It will be interesting to see how her movement is affected by our new wood floor.
After 2 months of non stop ear infections, she finally got a clean bill of health.  She weighs a little under 18 lbs and we think about 27.5 inches - so little Jay is quickly out pacing her.
Other new tricks include clapping, hi-five, and waving... Although the last two she is still perfecting.

Happy Father's day

Johanna grew a ponytail for the occasion.   We were able to go for a hike at Swiss Valley but Tony really regretted not getting that haircut, he was any easy pulling target!

We have teeth

They look kind of crocked. I wonder if they give an early discount at the orthodontist :-)

Cooking fun

I used my days off after memorial day to relax a bit.  I was able to get in my first big run since my pregnancy, do some yoga, and cooked a few new things.  I made a morel and egg white omelet (thanks for the morels Mike and Karen!) and tried to mimic East Mill Bakery's BBT.  East Mill is a new start up that makes fantastic English muffins.  The Bacon, Basil, and Tomato turned out pretty good!  I might add some cheese or pesto next time though...  Tony's version of the sandwich - sub sausage for bacon, no tomato, no basil - so pretty much the anti-BBT :-)
