We had the BEST time in Wisconsin Dells in August - found a great new beach spot, had an awesome jet boat ride, and lots of water park fun. We can't wait to do the whole thing again another summer.
Our first stop was Land of Natura. The inflatable waterpark was a favorite of Johanna's. She even did a flip off the tallest perch! Tony did his best to keep up and did well (though Michelle had a few belly laughs watching from the beach as Tony fell). Walter also had a good time on the inflatables until Tony bounced him off the jumping pillow and Walter did a 360 into the water. Even Michelle did the big slide down the side of the hill. The beach was glorious. Walter enjoyed digging trenches in sand.
We also enjoyed checking out the Treetop Walkway, zipline swing and the Wisconsin River beach.
We stayed at the Wilderness. Johanna enjoyed activities like the climbing wall and obstacle course.
Walter said it was like a "dream come true!" when we told him we were going to a Deer Park where he got to touch and feed deer. He also enjoyed seeing a Transformer.
We ALL thought the Jet Boat ride on Lake Delton was a total blast! The speed and fast turns made it more exciting and also quite wet! Unfortunately, when Tony braced himself he caught his toe on something and got a huge cut. One trip to urgent care, no stitches luckily, and Walter enjoyed the extra tablet time.
The water parks at the Wilderness were a big hit, especially the indoor wave pool.
