End of 2024

With such a long Christmas break (2 full weeks - and Michelle on PTO for one of them) we were able to enjoy lots of activities at the end of the year.

The whole family snagged tickets to an Iowa women's basketball game.

Walter really got into the game (or at least the theatrics of the game).  He got a picture with Herky, danced in the aisles to try and get on the jumbotron, and wanted a picture pretending to be scared when the score was close.

Johanna and Tony were able to enjoy an additional Iowa women's basketball game with Michael and Jen.

Michelle got a paint night with Karen.

Walter enjoyed Winter Bounce obstacle course at Five Flags.

Johanna was a winner of free throw contest at her school and participated in city-wide competition.

We hit up Village Inn and River Museum.

Kids got creative in their time off and established toddler shopping cart as a snack trolley.

Some cousins got together for a New Years party and stayed up for the countdown.

Christmas 2024

This was our first (and probably only year....Tony) for family matching pajamas.

Johanna was happy to get tickets to Iowa women's basketball game.  Her other favorite gifts were snackel, Jada t-shirt, and chocolate.  Walter dove right into any Legos he received - not being able to wait even when it took time out from playing with his cousins.  Johanna got Walter his first puzzle (Marvel of course) and he also REALLY enjoyed that gift.  Other favorites include happy napper, Flash costume, Hulk blaster, and geiko robot.  We all enjoyed our holiday traditions and getting together with family.
