Yummo

First attempt at rice cereal. And we have actually switched to soy formula for awhile to try and bind her up. We are on day 11 of "downstairs issues".  Waiting for the results of her stool sample which was NOT fun to collect.

Diaper rash :-(

Johanna has her first diaper rash, probably from her antibiotics. We let her hang out without a diaper but unfortunately our protective blanket wasn't big enough. Quite the projectile!  Luckily the only victim was the carpet. Now we know to be careful of her aim :-)

4 Months

Johanna has turned 4 (months) and you can really see her personality developing. She is interacting and talking more. She likes to smile and engage eye contact. She is a master at flipping to her tummy but hasn't figured out the way back yet. She loves books and songs, especially Patty Cake.
At the doctor's office for her check up, she was especially happy. When the nurse put her on the scale, Johanna thought the weights clanking were hilarious and she started laughing. She actually laughed through most of her exam which made us all laugh. (The shot were not quite as hilarious though.)  Here are her new stats:
Weight: 14.1 lb / 62%
Height:  25 in / 77%
Head:  40 cm / 25%
