Walter is a goofball that likes to bring humor to every situation. When Mom and Dad tell him it's time to stop and be serious, he instead looks at Johanna for approval to keep going and if it looks like she will laugh even more, he keeps going no matter what Mom and Dad say. Anything that is not TV or electronics is “boring” and he hates boring, especially when it involves cleaning. Walter continues to love animals, learning about them and telling others about them. He continues to be extra tall with this 7 year old height essentially matching Johanna’s 8 year old height on our growth chart (which frustrates her). He enjoys having a “street neighbor” the same age as him to play with.. Walter also loves hanging out with his cousins or grandparents, and mostly gets along with his sister.
He played all day with the Legos he got for his birthday and was also super psyched to get a small drone.
Excited to finally got to go fishing with Grandma and Grandpa Kluesner. He was more interested in the worms than the fish.
Hanging out in the trees at Grandma and Grandpa Arnold's with some cousins.
Still builds a “nest” of animals and blankets to sleep with. His must-have stuffed animal is his bear Lucky. He also still sleeps with his “night-nights” (spotty and browny) which are getting smaller and smaller as Grandma Karen has to re-hem them.
Funny height difference on his Tball team, Walter on the far left.
Continues to use his parents as jungle gyms, luckily he doesn't weight much.
He doesn’t like to write or draw, so for Mom’s birthday he suggested he make a video instead which turned out great.
