Just like Madison

We used the 4th of July weekend to take advantage of some Dubuque opportunities that reminded us of Madison.  We went to Heritage Pond and checked out the new bridge leading to the North End Trail with our new bikes!  Love the bikes and love the trail, very pretty and smooth.  (Sorry no picts this time.)

We took Hannie to music in the park at the Arboretum and showed her where we got married. She was kind enough to plan a scavenger hunt for us when we realized her pacifier was missing. We used photo evidence to determine time frame and retraced our steps. Success!

CO Trip

My June work trips actually gave me an opportunity to do a little site seeing. In Denver we had the "dream team", an opportunity to travel with multiple work friends, which never happens.
We went on a little "hike" at Red Rock Amphitheatre.  Then we went on a little microbrewery tour including GCB in Golden.
Our trusty tour guide Q made sure we hit the best breweries including The Great Divide. And Tony was very thankful for the bottles we picked up for him. One of my highlights was eating from an AWESOME food truck, my first true food truck experience.
And we ended the trip with a nice Rockies game. All in all, the perfect Tony vacation, if only he had been there :-)

9 months

Johanna is getting very mobile. She loves to crawl around and even get her own toys out of her bin.  Her mobility has enhanced her personality as you can tell she loves to explore and have fun. She still hates naps but sleeps well. And she always loves a bath!
When it comes to eating, she loves her puffs but isn't interested in feeding herself her bottle or using her spoon. She just puts her hands down and looks at you like "that's your job!". But we are making progress on the bottle holding front.
