Walter and Johanna worked together on the creative "cake" (brownie) decorations this year. Walter enjoyed the trick candles from his cousins. He requested a pool party for his birthday and went to Flora Pool with a few cousins. Walter still prefers to wear pajamas as much as he can, even wearing them for his birthday party.
Walter has begun to spend more time outside, especially swinging. However, his tablet tends to accompany him.
He is not a big fan of school, definitely prefers not to read, but is making good strides in reading and social goals
Walter has decided he is going to be an Ice Cream Truck driver and live in Johanna's basement when he grows up. Johanna isn't really onboard with this plan but Walter insists she doesn't have a choice and says he will even pay for her house. He is also looking forward to helping take care of Johanna's kids and be a "Funcle" (fun uncle).
Walter is ALL about family traditions - both enforcing existing ones (like catching fireflies on 4th of July) and creating new ones (like family game night). Watch out if you do something fun once - Walter may decide it is a tradition and try to enforce it every holiday, every week or even every day! For family game night, he has a song and dance.
Walter likes to be silly and dance (especially with Mom), no matter where we are - even when it embarrasses Johanna or wears on Dad's patience.
Walter loves to get new Lego characters. Favorite activities are watching TV and playing Marvel video games on the Nintendo Switch. He also loves going swimming, playing laser tag, hanging out with cousin Molly, cuddling with Mom, music and dancing - including going to musicals.
