Walter Turns 10

Walter had a fantastic cake for his 10th birthday, made by Johanna and Tony.  He is growing out his hair this year because he wants to be able to splash it in the pool like Johanna.

We spent some time at the mall and arcade for this birthday.  And of course he was showered in Legos for his birthday presents.

Walter is always game for some bowling or some laser tag.

But his biggest loves are his tablet, his pajamas, his super heroes games, and a nice cold glass of ice water.

Walter was really excited for the Superbowl this year - though not interested in watching the game. For him, sports is all about the snacks.  Walter wanted to make a football themed dessert so we cut a brownie into a football.  He set up a shop for concessions where he had all the snacks and we texted him our orders which he delivered via mini shopping cart.

He continues to sleep with Bob and brownie but has started to wear a sleeping mask since Mom brought one home from a Christmas party.

He is convinced he can still fit in the play area at the mall. He really is a young kid at heart which is both fun and embarrassing for Johanna.

He likes to pretend he is a dog, or really any animal. He is, of course, an "animal guy, not a sports guy".

He still refuses to learn to ride a bike so Tony gets to bring him along on the tandem. He is more interested in looking at nature, looking for animals and telling us all about them.

Walter is becoming more helpful and enjoyed using tools with Tony and helping plant flowers this year. Of course, when something is fun, Walter declares it as a new tradition and wants to plant flowers again EVERY year on the same day.

We love his dance skills and his affinity for mimic - impressing us with his Russian accent one night at dinner.

Favorite People:  Graham, William, Mommy.

Favorite Place to Go:  Mall, Your Pie, Ice cream places, Pizza places.

Favorite to Eat: Donuts, pizza, ice cream, spaghetti and meatballs, pesto noodles.

I Want to Be: Zookeeper, ice cream truck driver.

Dislikes: Heights, Spiders, Johanna annoying me and not listening to me even though it's my birthday.

Likes: Annoy Johanna, Play games on the switch, Watch TV, Animals, and especially annoy Johanna.
