Johanna finished up her basketball season in January with a tournament in Andrew.
They were excited to win second place!
Johanna joined the FASST Track Club. They practiced at UD for a few weeks then participated in a indoor track meet at UD in February. Johanna placed top three in all of her events!
SPRINT. 55m dash. 8.92 seconds.
Johanna was way ahead in her heat and placed 3rd overall and 2nd for girls.
SHOT PUT. 29 ft, 4 in.
Johanna earned third place.
Johanna earned second place. Her jumps were impressively far - even over 12 ft - unfortunately the measurement is based where her hands land when falling back.
HIGH JUMP. 3 ft, 8 in.
Johanna was initially hesitant to try high jump for the first time. But now she wants it to be one of her primary events. She placed 1st of three for her age group.
Johanna had swimming lessons at YMCA and perfected her dive.
Johanna also tried out a new club - Cribbage Club! She was able to invite Tony to play with over lunch at Bryant one day. And they had their favorite Slim 5 sandwiches.
