Christmas 2015
We had a great holiday, nice and laid back. One day with the Kluesners, one day on our own (although we did invite a few visitors over), and one day with the Arnolds. We kept up our tradition of Chinese food on Christmas but this time decided to do take out. We also started a new holiday tradition (well, maybe a tradition, it ended up being more work than intended). We got a Christmas countdown calendar that is a Christmas tree with ornaments. Each day, Johanna got to choose an ornament to put on the tree and that ornament had a letter on the back. The letter corresponded to an activity that I had planned - like painting, going out for ice cream, or reading a new book. Walter didn't participate too much in the activities, but he did enjoy helping open a present or two on Christmas. Johanna was super excited all Christmas day (and all month actually) and her big present was a train set, although Mom and Dad may be a little more into it than her at this time.
